You say you will raise the retirement age for those on social security to help save it. Why does the federal government plan for politicians not match the social security age? People pay into this system all of their life, and keep getting pushed back, yet the pensions for elected officials is not. Would you support any changes to social security being mirrored with the federal pension system. Raise the age to 68 in social security, then federal pension pays out at age 68. Equal treatment for all retirees, not favoring those who work for the government. Politicians who feel the same pain the regular people do can better represent.
